Le imbarcazioni vengono distinte in HEAVY e LIGHT a seconda del peso rapportato alla lunghezza della barca. Nella tabella di selezione sono state considerate condizioni standard di lavoro. Nel caso di utilizzo dell’apparecchio in condizioni al di fuori dello standard come per imbarcazioni charter o commerciali consigliamo sempre di scegliere un apparecchio di dimensione superiore. Raccomandiamo vivamente di utilizzare tutti gli apparati di sicurezza e una volta ancorati di utilizzare un chain stopper per evitare che il salpa-ancore assorba tutto il carico. This chart put in relationship the model of anchor windlass with the length and the displacement of the boat. The boats are classified like HEAVY or LIGHT by the relationship between displacement and length of the boat. The chart is made for marine standard working conditions. In case the marine conditions are different from the standard like for commercial or charter boats we strongly recommend to select the superior model of anchor windlass than what indicated. We strongly recommend to use together with the anchor windlass all the safety devices and to use a chain stopper in order to spread the load on the anchor windlass.
