BREVI CONSIGLI SULL ‘ANCORAGGIO • Scegliere la zona appropriata mantenendo una giusta distanza di sicurezza da altre imbarcazioni presenti nella zona e considerando che l’imbarcazione potrebbe muoversi perché l’ancora potrebbe arare. • Arrivati nel punto scelto per l’ancoraggio rallentare mantenendo la prua al vento, fermare la marcia, aspettare che l’imbarcazione sia ferma ed iniziare la discesa dell’ancora. • Mentre l’ancora scende dare un colpo a marcia indietro per assicurarsi che l’ancora si posizioni correttamente e la catena si svolga con regolarità. • L’ammontare di catena da rilasciare deve essere almeno tre volte la profondità del fondale nel punto. • Non spegnere il motore finché non si è sicuri che l’ancora abbia la tenuta sul fondo. • Una volta ancorati assicurarsi che il salpa-ancore non supporti tutto il carico ponendo un chain stopper sulla catena o legando un anello di catena con una cima ad una bitta. • Controllare la posizione dell’imbarcazione con frequenza.
